Good conversion with valid points. I personally believe that due to the pace of an auction and life happening around drafters on draft night everyone misses a nomination from time to time. If it happens more than once then I may have to do something. I also believe in the honor system when it comes to this, and since this is a good, stable group of managers (many of whom I personally know) I do not believe it will be a problem. So just to make it crystal clear – everyone is expected to nominate!

I’m down for a missed nom rule, If ghost wants to do it. this isn’t surprise league so I’m not too hung up on it, but it can be a strategy.

I have always believed in the 3 missed noms and you are done rule unless the owner lets the league know they are having connections issues, which does happen. Every commish runs the draft differently so it will be up to Ghost to decide how the draft is operated tonight.

Looking forward to drafting tonight! One question - I don't remember if it was this league, but sometimes people miss their turn to start an Auction, and we've said that if you do that once or twice you get booted. Do we want to institute anything like that? It's annoying when it happens because it slows things down, and it can be an advantage later if you're trying to let other teams fill their roster before you nominate someone you want. Thoughts?

The Gentlemanly Pursuits draft is Tuesday night at 8:00 pm. Please try to be early so that no one is late, plus it gives time to set up your queues. I have no money so I'll be basically observing (impatiently) the proceedings. But still, draft day is awesome and it's finally here - so enjoy the draft and I will "see" you all on Tuesday.
