• I had a feeling Happ might be a hang up for people. But, it doesn't seem that the Cubs see him as a 2B (only 1 inning there so far), so I look at him in the context of OF options. And, he is rocking a 44.3 K% this year, after a 30+ K% last year. He needs to show better plate discipline if he wants to even be a full-time player on a team loaded with talent like the Cubs. I know he has hype, but there's a lot of risk and he's going in the wrong direction currently...

• Agree pretty standard. I think the strangest thing about the deal is that Happ is in it, but that's a minor thing and we can all disagree on who is worth what. But the structure/concept of this trade seems ABC.

• I am giving up 3 high end prospects plus a young major leaguer for 5 months of Strasbourg. This is a standard Ottoneu trade between a rebuilding team and a contender. Strasbourg will be a free agent at end of year as I won’t be able to afford to have him on my roster. Look at the trade thread in the community to see similar trades.

• Should say 4 years, actually. New owners take note, Surplus took over a last place, abandoned team after 2014 and has won the league every year since -- and its not even been close. Hopefully we can give him some competition this year. Good luck to everyone
