WTF I'm with you but I appreciate the explanation Theo's. If you value Gallo and Souza highly then it's a good move for you. I just disagree with the Jackson part, as he offers below average production and projection for $5, and is now a speed player with a damaged wheel

I meant Jackson not Rasmus....I think when he comes off the DL he will improve my OF

I think Souza will be within 200 points of Cutch's total production at a price that I can keep him next year and get Gallo for a price. Rasmus is playing well and slots into my OF potentially improving it by the gap I lose between Souza and Cutch. I don't see the deal as weak or unfair.

Also, to touch on the Zobrist cut, I don't think there is a problem with it. Urban switched out a $28 injured Zobrist for a $13 Pearce who just gained 2B eligibility. Good move.

At the time of the trade, Souza was outperforming a struggling McCutchen at a much cheaper price, and Gallo is a stud power prospect to go along with it. You can have your opinion but I think the trade is far from unfair.
