I think this would be a better trade in Ottoneu than MLB. My thought is - Duvall should be good for 25 to 35 HR in Cincy's tiny ballpark. Baez is exciting but inconsistent, and I assume you are planning to use him as a backup. I think Duvall at $3 is a reasonable offer for Baez at $11. But you have a great deal more insight into Baez than I do since you see far more Cubs games.

Baez is my favorite Cub. Bill James projects Baez with an .815 ops next year and Duvall with a .776. If defense was factored in somehow, I probably wouldn't do this trade. Baez might end up being the best defender ever in my eyes. For fun, on youtube there are several compilations of highlights of just Baez. However, the $8 difference is very relevant for me, and I'm a bit more optimistic on Duvall. Why in the heck didn't the Giants ever promote Duvall? He produced extremely well ev
