I believe the auto-eject will be available for any team to use or not use on any given day, so it shouldn't be an issue to start benched players if preferred. (I'm super-jazzed about it, as someone who occasionally has trouble checking lineups during work, but I get your perspective too.)

There are times when I intentionally start benched players. I would like them to actually play. I think the number of points they provided last season was greater than my margin of victory.

fwiw, I don't see mention of the new auto-eject rule, but I vote against it unless it lets us override it in some way.

feb 29 should be fine with me. yeah, as soon as the calendar turns march, things get dicey re: availability for me. i unilaterally APPROVE this draft date, by the lack of power vested in me

I'm going to be traveling myself for a good chunk of mid-March, which is already going to be difficult given that it's prime draft season, so I don't want to add to that. And since I'm the commish ... ;) It sounds like people are okay with FEB 29th as the date. If not, please speak now.

Sat Feb 29 works, but yeah, a later weekend would be preferable.

Does anyone have a problem if I move the draft to Saturday, February 29th? Or, would people prefer to do an early draft on the 9th? Seeing some problems with the current date ...
