I would suggest posting the open teams on the community forum and/or slack group if you haven’t already - I find that usually gets new managers quickly.

Three open teams. The full list of available teams has been dwindling lately, so I'm confident that we'll get new managers. It may not be by 1/31, but claiming managers a free round of cuts anyway. Shouldn't have any problems with a late March auction.

hey guys, i'm sorry to do this, but i feel like i should leave the league as well. i don't want to start off with people thinking i'm colluding with other teams or trying to cheat. Think it would be better if you start with someone fresh. Laser Showalter, let me know how to move forward

When you get new managers to take over existing teams... Generally, about 80% fall into one of two categories... They make perceived "bad" trades right away, or they don't trade at all... The two deals in question, I wouldn't even consider to be 'bad' by any stretch

1500 is the inning limit, soft cap. Meaning all innings on the final day of the season count. If you're at 1499 and you pitch 25 innings on the final day, you'll get points for all 1524

I didn't feel those trades were questionable at all. Being in another league with someone isn't reason to cancel a trade.

we are in another league together but don't know each other and this is the first time we're trading. we have been going back and forth exchanging deals for the last day. happy to share the back and forth emails if anyone is interested

New managers Wham Bam and Mariner: these pending trades are questionable (per feedback from other managers) and I noticed that you're in another league together. Vetoes are off the table because of 3 unclaimed teams. I'm sensitive to differing opinions on player valuations, but you can understand the rest of the league's concern. I'm leaning toward canceling both and removing Wham Bam from the league, but I'm open to counter-arguments.

Hi all, glad to be joining the league. Hopefully we can get the remainder filled between now and Feb. I'm going to get acquainted with the roster and then start cutting guys, fielding trades and all of that. Send any deals my way.

Can we talk about maybe taking a poll to see who might not be returning next season? I am a little concerned about having 3 teams that have no managers. It is my every intention to return next season, however, if we lose another manager (or two) we may have an issue filling those teams.

We currently have two teams without managers and one manager who hasn't logged in since 11/12. If still inactive when we fill the others, I'll abandon that team. Once we're full or get too close to Opening Day, we'll figure out an auction date.

Positive you need to get legal within 24 hours or I'll manually unwind the last waiver wire/auction adds until your roster is legal.

Tonka please stop antagonizing Laser. He has a right to voice an opinion about a trade, and was not the only one to question the fairness of the trade.

The trade is egregious and should not be allowed.

While I don't think the trade is terrible, I do think that if Positive Jam exercised a little patience and informed the league of the intention to deal Cole and Trout he could have gotten much more in a return package from someone. Much More.

Ok, I’m sorry to be THAT guy, but I can’t let a trade like the one pending go without seeing what others in the league have to say. Tonka is getting a Top 5 hitter and Top 5 pitcher back in a deal with only one premium prospect going back the other way (and Adley already costs $10). Jam didn’t really make it known he was looking to move these premium talents and there are still 4 months left in the season. This is incredibly lopsided, imo, and it really affects the competition at the top.
