An aside, I just finished arbitration and WTF has a great ass team. Nice job man
-
That's a loophole I wish Niv would fix. I personally believe a simple fair solution is no transactions last week of season and all cuts made at that deadline when transactions end(last week of season).
-
I agree, its a dick move. If his moves aren't made before arb begins at midnight, I will be making those same dick moves next year. Since there is no accountability, I suggest all make dick moves as well. At least it will be understood that it is acceptable. Let it be known, I am completely against that way, but if one is not gonna be held accountable, then I'm not gonna sit around and play right then. I guess it's dog eat dog.
-
But I will point out that laser said he would cut when able. So, yeah, send your cuts to the commish laser.
-
I have never had this problem in other leagues because it is a dickish move to do to your league mates.
-
No. It's not allowed by rules although there is a loophole. It's still not legal and he needs to get rid of 6 players. Or commish can cut last 6 adds
-
We've got two days before arb starts - Commish did Laser send you his cuts? If not, can you just roll back the last 6 acquisitions they made?
-
And I don't want to hear one word from anyone about it when I do it.
-
Evidently it doesn't matter if you go over roster limit while picking up or blocking others from picking up free agents late in the season. Since there is no accountability to have a legal roster and go into arbitration with extra players. Let it be known, that in future years I will be bidding, blocking, and hoarding every player I can find late in the season. I will not waive players appropriately and go into offseason with an abundance of players to choose from and way over the salary cap.
-
6 cuts
-
Laser-send your cuts to Commish.
-
My team is Astros only because verlander is still my favorite tiger
-
Iβm also good with whatever everyone picks.
-
Letβs Go Mets! ....they should have expanded NL playoffs to 6 teams. Also, Iβm good with whatever $ amount we pick
-
Okay fellas, who you pulling for this postseason? And who is your favorite team? I'm a Braves fan, so Go Braves!!!
-
Im good with either also
-
Im fine with either amount too
-
I'm good for either $75 or $100 buy in.
-
I'm good with raising the amount to either $75 or $100
-
I would prefer $75 because the payouts are much better
-
Just let Commish know who you want to cut. I would think he can do it for you. I think the cuts option will not be enabled until after Arbitration. You shouldn't be allowed to have extra players(illegal roster) to choose from during arbitration. If an owner is gonna bid on players late in the year, then that owner should be held accountable to make cuts immediately. Other owners may have had interest in the players acquired, and your bids blocked another owner from acquiring.
-
Sorry, I'll make the cuts when it's enabled.
-
We staying at 50$ next year just curious
-
Yes it was. Hope I can keep the guys I want to. Let's see how arbitration goes.... FYI. Whomever has Soto, he gets $3 from me no matter the price. I'm doing it in all leagues. Dude is so damn good and I own him nowhere.
-
Congrats! And agreed, make the rosters legal
-
Congrats Rapids. Hell of a season
-
Thank you. Had a good team to take over.
-
And Congrats Rapids!
-
I agree with Rapids. Make the cuts and get the salary cap within the rules.
-
I also point out that he is -7 over cap
-
Other leagues retract last auctions until he gets back to 46, which is his count with 60 DL guys
-
That's not fair
-
Commish. Please make sure laser is legal by end of offseason. Can't have over 40 players non 60 dl
-
Looking to add some SP if anyone is looking to move some
-
Yeah for sure. That was a hell of a day
-
Few more of those and I'll start to put some pressure on you.
-
Nice day for you showalter?!
-
Anyone want Edwin Diaz? (Lol).
-
Anyone want Edwin Diaz
-
Yeah, sounds good to me as well
-
Yes.
-
Also agree
-
I agree
-
Just want to throw this out there: we're in a $50 league, which pays 58% of dues back to winners. The $75 league pays 69%, and the $100 league 75%. In the interest of paying less money to the house (percentage-wise), should we consider upgrading for next year?
