September 17, 2024 11:10 PM : Donovan went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Pirates.
Analysis: Donovan picked up his first steal since Aug. 23. He's had a steady September, going 16-for-47 (.340) across 13 contests despite missing some time due to a foot infection. The 27-year-old has supplied middling total in the counting stats with 12 home runs, five steals, 64 RBI and 61 runs scored over 142 contests, but he's been fairly reliable with a .270/.336/.402 slash line while seeing time in left field and at second base for most of the year. He may spend more time in left to close out the campaign with Thomas Saggese getting a look at the keystone.
