  • Ok gents, two days left to get your arbitrations in. We have 5 teams who need to put in their allotment! That's almost half the league! This is the best way to ensure parity and it, seriously, can only take you fifteen minutes. It's only as complicated a process as you want it to be. We're a competitive league, so we should have everyone in this arbitration pool. The water is fine. You won't need an attorney. Promise.

  • Hi Biloxi, the Arbitration system is an either/or. So it's either the allocations method or the vote off method. Our league is structured with the allocations. :)

  • Don't forget the:
    Vote Off
    The vote-off system gives each team in the league the ability to vote on a player on each other team.
    The player that receives the most votes collectively on each team is turned into a restricted free agent that can be bid on by other teams during the auction draft.
    In the case of a tie, the standings of all the relevant voting teams is examined. Whichever player has the team with the worst standings voting for them is the restricted free agent.

  • Hi all, note that October 15th is the start of off-season roster changes! It is called "Arbitration" and will allow each Owner to add dollars to players on other Owners' teams.

  • @south side, I think that would only make sense if we wanted to increase each person's total investment above the current $100.

    In our current league structure, I believe the payouts are 600/300/100 ($1,000 total), meaning Ottoneu takes $200 total. If we do a $20 league with no official payouts, that's $240 total that Ottoneu gets. So it ends up being about the same either cut to them either way.
