Hand showed he's capable of putting big PPI, same with Phelps when he was in the bullpen. Phelps was already a surplus asset in 2016, Hand showed he can be one in 2017. Both are valuable regardless of role, but should Hand get a shot at closing (Capps/Maurer are both ?) he could be even more valuable. Velasquez is a gamble but he should at least put up $5-$10 and has upside north of $20 given his high K rates.
