Cavan and I are both renewed. Any objections to the trade should be made before 1:06 pm EST before Sunday, November 1st.
-

K/9 paid for next year.

1/BSBRGC has a few unique rules. First, for the 2020-21 offseason there is no arbitration voting. This is a COVID-19 measure, and we will return to arb in November 2021 or whenever baseball resumes to whatever new normal there is.
-
2/The renewal date for your team is NOT January, like every other league. We require that all returning teams are renewed on or before 10 days after the end of the World Series. We require that all new teams pay within 48 hours of claiming the team.
-
3/Should you claim the available team in this leauge please do not make any transactions until you have renewed the team for the following year.
-
Rizzotto has been marked as abandoned. The following is a public post for anyone looking at our league and considering taking over that team.
-
Hi. We won't be continuing in this league. Thanks for having us and good luck. -Izzy

In the past we have extended our trade season. Here’s how we did it. Teams agree and message Commish the terms. Commish posts to the board. Trade is open 48 hours with voting as normal. I’m ready to open it up if there are no objections with one caveat: the owners trading have renewed for next year. Cool?
-
Trades will be open Nov 15. Don’t think there’s a way to manually skip ahead on the league calendar.
-
Thanks for the effort commishes. So is the trading season open, since we don't have arbitration?
-

over the next few days Snells and I are going to begin rolling back arb, which is likely to be arduous and time consuming and won't be all at once so if you see that other teams have been rolled back and yours has not please know that it's because we've not yet gotten to your team. I'm going to do a bit later tonight if time permits, Snells is going to knock out a bit tomorrow, I'll try to get a bit more done Thurs. Thanks.
-
Yes. Fine with no auto Arb. Also fine either way with owner allocated arb or not.
-
Correct. No arbitration at all. Salaries will hold into next season.
-
Yes - no arb. But quick point of clarification - this also means we do not get $25 to distribute to other teams, correct?
-
Yes - no arbitration
-
Sorry I've gotten swept up at work. Is it safe to assume that we're all on board for no arbitration this year? Simple comment of yes or no please.

Snells and I will go through the task of adjusting.
-
Think Nuke is confused because Arb was applied already.
-
No my intention was and is to have no arb, full stop, this year.
-
OK, so on June 22nd and again on June 23rd the "rules" that were proposed said no salary increases for this year. No $1/$2 increases. Did we decide to forget that one? Grabbed some cheap and not so-cheap young players and veterans planning around those rules.
-
I believe it is on the table to not apply arbitration to minor leaguers, if I miss read that, disregard my last post :)
-
I actually agree with your Betts argument Chicken! I also believe under that logic, that any rostered player should be subject to arbitration in a normal year. I am all for holding off this year. But if the next Mookie Betts is in single A and gets rostered in a normal year for $5. Then he deserves the minor league arb bump of a $1 or $2, or whatever it normally is. So, I am in favor of applying arbitration to minor leaugers in normal years.
-
I'm not in favor of adding a MiLB roster with a snake draft because this is an auction league. Upon their debuts, Mookie Betts and some random relief pitcher are not of the same value in an auction league to be added at the same $1 upon debut. We have roster space to fill out rosters and hold prospects, and one should bid at auction for Betts the prospect (or the next Betts) the way one would for a RP or a star 3B.
-
I'm in favor of the No Arb For Any Player Including The Auto $1/2 that Snells and I discussed and announced in the spring. There have been opt-outs, there have been players (notably on my team Moncada) take nose-dives who have stated that they didn't feel right post-COVID, teams have made weird cut decisions based on a short season, minor leaguers didn't play competitive ball, many guys who should not have debuted this year did, and a host of other issues that make this year an outlier.
