Congrats to Down by the Schoolyard for taking the inaugural championship. He went all in with a whopping $202 in incoming loans, and it paid off in a big way--a dominant performance! Congrats as well to Sharky's Goonies and StringerBias for respectable finishes in second and third.
Hope to see you all again next year. If you know you will not return, please let me know as soon as possible so we can try to get a replacement found before arbitration.

FYI, Niv is extending the Ottoneu season to September 30 because of the Braves-Mets doubleheader now scheduled for that date. Waivers and auctions will correspondingly be extended to be available/active through the entire MLB regular season. Auctions will therefore have to be wrapped by 11:59pm ET Monday instead of 11:59pm ET Sunday.

Hi all: as the end of the season nears, there is some potential for gamesmanship (or strategy, depending on how you feel about the underlying conduct) concerning auctions and roster legality. Second, in case it wasn't clear, the December 31 draft date currently displayed in this league was only intended as a placeholder. We will be doing a slow draft through Couch Managers. That platform offers a lot of customization, so we have some decisions we have to make as a league, including (among other things) the start date for the draft. I am going to create a channel in the Ottoneu Slack for our league to further hash out the details, so keep an eye out for an invite!
