Would a trade like this work? It would help you this year, and it could work out okay next year also assuming you agree Votto is a keeper at his price and Brrios is as good as I think he is. I assume the Mets are smart enough to limit Thor's innings if he return this year. They are not contending for anything. But then again, I am not sure it is safe to assume Mets mgt is particularly smart.
