Did the rosters for the new teams get updated post dispersal draft?
-
Our two new managers should be fully operational as of now. Look out!
-
We have our two new managers for Gaussian Rounders and Vampires, and dispersal draft from the two rosters is about to begin here (please do not interfere with the document while in progress, thanks): https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1302haT2eHoh7P29JSiJexOqgeDr9C3OsyhD5a0jKmeU/edit?usp=sharing

I’d just like to thank the one or two owners that didn’t put the full 3 dollars on my team.
-
Sounds good - thanks commish.
-
Arbitration has been completed for the two AWOL teams, and I have heard from both of the pending teams this morning. Should be good to go today, then enter recruitment mode for trade season. Again, if anyone knows any candidates that might be interested in either of the two teams, let me know. Good chance we could have a dispersal draft if that makes a difference.
-
Update: I have assigned an arb proxy volunteer as co-manager of the first of the two teams we know need assistance with. He will proceed with allocations for both teams today.
-
Those two teams are now posted on Slack. Still taking internal referrals, of course.
-
Arbitration due tomorrow, everyone! On a related note, I emailed Vampire$ and Gaussian Rounders over the weekend and received no response. So if anyone knows someone that might be interested in picking up those teams, or even just doing their arbitration, now is the time to nominate. Otherwise, I will be recruiting for Arb proxies on Slack. Thanks!
-
4 days left! Happy Veterans Day.
-
Six days left of arbitration! For our league mates that have not logged in since September, it would be great to get some indication that you are still out there and ready to go, even if that's only logging into the site to look around. Thanks!
-
About 10 days of arbitration left. Again, if you are not intending to be part of the league next year, please let us know so that we can find a replacement before arb ends. Hope not, but thanks if so!
-
14 days left for Arb
-
Arbitration is live! If any of you are not going to be able to continue next season, now would be a good time to let us know so that we can find replacements. Otherwise, have fun squeezing your fellow managers!
-
Thanks for the great year! Can’t wait for next year!
-
Well played by WW. Congrats!

Okay... I think that scoring adjustments are in, and we can say congrats to Walking Wounded on the extremely narrow win? But kudos to RiverDogs and Ichiros on a great race, as well. We'll be back again next season with the annual slow auction starting on March 1, but will see you for arbitration and trade season in the meantime. Thanks all for a good first season!
-
Note to all: Every roster must be legal by the end of the day on Tuesday, so I will be taking a snapshot of any teams that are over salary and/or spots on Sunday night, and then will back out any moves made on those rosters until they are legal. Ideally, everyone is done starting auctions at this point. Since we're all legal right this second, any that we do start would be at risk of being undone if not within limits Tuesday night.
-
Yeah I keep getting like 5 points ahead and falling 100 points behind
-
🍿 will be a fun weekend 🍿 best of luck to the top 3
-
This thing is awful close. Good luck to the contenders this weekend.
-
Just a friendly reminder that the trade deadline is this coming Thursday. Get those last minute deals done!
-
Well that’ll be fun to watch….
-
HOLY COW! I'm not in last anymore
-
I’m like Jeff Loria, but without the ring. I’ve still got points to sell though, so if you want to make a run for the money come see me!
-
Well that’s a trade. Going all in Brew Jays.
-
Hey all! My block has been updated and I’m in the midst of peppering the various contenders with offers. Hit me up here or @beckryac on Slack!

Such a tough blow to lose a star hitter and pitcher for a significant time. But plenty of season left.
-
Pretty crowded at the top of the standings there. Down where we are, though, lots of room...
-
*gets one guy back from injury* *6 players get hurt on team* I guess this is how life goes

The start of the season is here! Woohoo! Play Ball!
-
That feeling when you have to sit AAron Nola and Dylan cease…. Loaded staff
-
Thanks, sorry about that

Reverted the correct Zac Veen to his auction salary for TWW.
-
Yeah, I've had that Veen error in a couple other Couchmanager imports. Just use your magic commish powers to make it right.
-
The Couch Managers import ended up loading the wrong Zach Veen. Ignore this new auction for the correct one, because he's destined to return to the Walking Wounded's roster at the intended $2 salary. Unless there's something else I'm missing.
-
Cool. Just making sure so I didn’t step on toes.
-
As Cincy noted, pitching in particular is an area where you'd have some wiggle room on the 22 MLB player requirement. Really, the key is that every team is making a credible effort to reach game and inning caps for each position. If that's with 10 RP or 1 RP is less crucial. You just can't lay out on fielding enough players getting MLB games and innings.
-
That is correct Jake Burger
-
Just my $0.02, but I think there should be some leeway given for the catcher and RP requirements there. There are valid strategies that involve not rostering a catcher at different points of the season (i.e. meet the cap early, or wait and roster 2 catchers late). My read on the pitcher side is that you just need to be making a good faith effort to meet the inning cap. There are going to be times where it's not worth rostering RP.
-
I haven't messed with Rosters but in respect to Pitchers, i thought it said you can Put RP in SP slot and vice versa. But you only accumlate points for SP if they start and RP if they come in relief.
-
Rule I.A. states you have to maintain a roster of at least 22 MLB players that CAN fill out a starting lineup. So you can sit all your players on a given day if you do not like their matchups. As far as keeping at least 5 RPs or 1 catcher on the roster at all times, we should probably decide if that will be enforced. I am in several other leagues, none of which enforce this rule.

Just gauging the enforcement of rules.
-
I just want to make sure I understand the rules. Do we have to have 5 players in the RP roles each day? Or do we have to have 22 players could fill each role? Can I sit a position against a bad match up or am I suppose to act as if it were a real team?
-
Okay, I think I got that sorted. Everyone can still check their rosters to make sure that they're in order, but I have closed out the auction here, and we operating in in-season mode now. Trades, cuts, and auctions should be able to proceed. Thanks everybody for a fun draft, and good luck on your seasons!
-
Rosters have been imported from Couch Managers. Unfortunately, there were three player assignments rejected due to bad data, but I don't have a log of which those were. Working on getting those identified now, but if you see before I can update, please let me know. Thanks!
-
Please check in on Couch Managers chat to let us know if you plan to continue making nominations. If few enough teams and/or only $1 bids are possible, we will enable additional nominations per remaining team so that we can close out the auction in one big wave.
-
Stuck by positional constraint on the Couch Managers site: Would anyone outbid my $1 nomination for Jorge Alcala (RP, MIN)? If not, I will add manually at $1 once results have been imported here. And if so, please nominate on Couch Managers, and I will not oppose. Thanks!
-
We are back to 8 4, perhaps for the duration. If anyone is bowing out of the draft at fewer than 40 players, please let the group know. Thanks!
