Hello, everyone! As we move past the 1/3 mark of the season, and as I'm sure you're all aware of by now, trades and trade offers will be more frequent. Ideally, if we could all respond to requests or messages within a week's time, it would help optimize the health of the league. If there any extenuating circumstances, a quick acknowledgement of a message or offer goes a long way. Life comes first! I hope everyone is having a great start of summer, and I'll see y'all on the trade block haha.

I mentioned this mid season, but I’d like to open it up again. I’d like to step away from commish duties. It’s not a particularly difficult job, just one I’m not always on top of. If anyone wants to take over please let me know. I’d like to have this passed on prior to the end of the year.

I have no issues with the proposed trade but was just wondering how long are you going to wait to determine Woodruff isn't pitching this year. If Milwaukee doesn't officially shut him down for the year you'll have to wait until the last day of the season to find out if he pitches again this year. Just a thought.

Since we can piggyback off the existing Ottoneu slack, I’d suggest we stay there. I was unaware of that option prior to suggesting discord. HAVJNG everyone go through the existing Ottoneu infrastructure should raise the level of competition as everyone will have access to the same info.

Is anyone strongly opposed to making a Discord instead of Slack? I still haven’t been added and I can setup a server in a few minutes. All good if Slack is a strong preference!

Also, letting everyone know that I'll have to bounce at the 8 hour make so I can get some dinner and try to recharge for my 7 PM draft. God help me.

Date: Keep the same (Saturday the 25th at 10am ET) + Sunday the 26th at 6PM ET
Saturday Time: 8 Hours
The goal will be to finish Saturday and make Sunday at 6PM unnecessary.

Working On A Changeup has the intent correct "I submitted assuming the responses meant how many hours the main draft date on the 25th would be, plus a whatever is necessary on Sunday"

I read it to mean after Saturday's 8 hours how many more hours on the Sunday do you want to tentatively schedule in the event the draft needs to be extended. I guess I got it wrong. I'd prefer to get as much done on the Saturday as we realistically can and then pick it back up Sunday evening if necessary.

I think it was a typo, but I’m definitely down to get as much done as possible on Saturday 3/25 and then have the buffer just in case. NCAA tournament will be running, so I’m just gonna be watching games and drafting that weekend haha

I'll create a couple of surveys here to get us started. With ten of us, lets set the date now. Anyone else who joins can make sure they're available for joining.
On the draft, for those who are new to this format, know that there is no auto draft feature and the draft will take ~8 hours.
Surveys coming: Communication App? (Discord, Slack, Other?) Draft Date: Keep the Same, change, add a second day to finish?

My preference would be for not a slow draft. I like the pace of being in the auction room. The 25th works for me but we might want to have a 2nd slot blocked off to finish in case we can’t get it all done in one sitting

This year will be my first slow auction draft so I don't know how they play out on this platform, but is a slow draft a possibility or are we pushing it to close to March 30? I'm currently fine with the time we have scheduled now--I have another draft that evening but whatever.

I'm hoping that we're able to stick with the March 25th date as I'm involved in another draft on noon Sunday March 26th. Looking forward to it !!!

The current draft date/time is perfect for me. I really only will have time on the weekends and earlier start time is better. We could make a Discord server or something. Whatever messaging app works best.
