    He's been on the bubble and when I cut him last time I was boggling back and forth between him and Ryne Nelson, which is how I accidently had the wrong guy selected.

    I like Quinn, but shoulder issues in the minors are no joke.

  • In other words: there's only one position: Pitcher.

    SP/RP doesn't mean anything functionally.

    You put players in the slot of the role they fill.

    Bonus fact: openers have to be in SP to earn points, and followers need to be in RP.

    Thanks Tigers for making my life that much harder last year.

  • You want to slot him in at SP. For pitchers the listed position of SP or RP doesn't matter. Any pitcher can go in an SP slot or an RP slot. But to get points for an appearance, the pitcher needs to be in the spot they are actually appearing in. As an example, the Braves had Grant Holmes throw an inning out of relief in their opener to keep him on schedule. I didn't realize they were going to do that. Holmes was in my lineup but as an SP, so I didn't get points.

  • Rule III.d

    All pitchers can be placed in either SP or RP positions on the lineup and roster organizer pages. However they will only accrue statistics if you use them in the same manner as their MLB team
    SP spots must be taken by pitchers who are starting in MLB games. If a player in a team's lineup SP slot does not start on the day they are in the SP slot, they will not accrue statistics
    RP spots must be taken by pitchers who are in the bullpen in MLB games...

  • Rules question: I just picked up Easton Lucas who is functioning in reality as a starter. Only still designated as RP. Do I need to slot him into one of my RP or SP spots to get points for his next start?
