Not everyone is on Discord, so I'm just coming here to let you guys know that if you saw some weird transactions go down the past couple of days, they were both accidental drops that were communicated immediately on our league Discord - the first by Even More Delicious Moments, which I offered to add back; and the second by me, and our co-commish Matt (aka Pythagorean Regrets) extended the same courtesy. Hope everyone is enjoying the dog days of summer, the ball is really flying now!

Must have been an issue on my end with a dropped connection or something. I expected the feedback to be “no waiver claim was made” and that’s what Niv came back with so it will just ride that way.

Hey everyone, Matt aka Pythagorean Regrets has let me know that he put in a claim for Matt Strahm, which for some reason did not go through. He is posting the issue to the Community Forums, where Niv (Ottoneu creator) should be able to give us a satisfactory response soon. is better, but just don't go MIA. 2) Rosters should get legal within 48 hours - after any roster move that would get the roster over the player limit or salary cap, or under 22 active mlb players, managers should make corresponding moves to get their rosters legal within 2 days. 3) Everyone should have 22 active mlb players on their squads - 12 hitters and 10 pitchers - which includes 10-day and 15-day ILs. We also expect everyone to be reasonably pacing towards the minimum GP/IP. (2/2)

Hey everyone, we've got a couple new people here so just letting you know we held a vote last year and we have a "get legal within 48 hours" policy for our rosters. We're still technically in the offseason so it's no big deal, but we expect everyone to make a reasonable effort to stay within our cap and roster limits.

There was some ambiguity with the date I have now realised. The intent was to start the draft Feb 5, at 7PM ET. Or 2 hour, 45 minutes from now.
Also to confirm again this is a slow draft on couchmanangers.

Hi all, draft will start at 7PM ET. No pressure to nominate immediately as for Christian it will be 1AM for example, just remember to check in and make your noms/place bids.
That’s 11AM for those in developed Australia, 9PM in Brazil.

I believe all rosters have now imported correctly. Has everyone had a chance to acquaint themselves with couch managers?
A few important notes:
- Never use the 'make max bid my actual bid' option
- Positional Eligibility for players may not always match Ottoneu, so use Ottoneu when in doubt
- We will have 24 hour nominations, bids will add 8 hours to the timer
Before we start, does anyone have any questions? We can start the draft on Sunday the 5th at

Hi mate, we are doing a slow draft on couch managers - I'll import the rosters for the last couple of teams that joined and we can then schedule a slow draft time.

Went to auction draft room, then realized it was a slow draft, went to couch managers but nothing there either, when is the slow draft starting. Just want to know if I'm missing something here Thanks

Hi all, just a quick update, once cuts have been finalised I'll set up a draft room on couch-managers for the slow draft (we used this last season) I am aiming to have things set up so that we can make sure everyone can access the draft by the weekend following the cut deadline. Aiming to start the draft on the 3rd/4th of Feb. Let myself or quack of the bat know if you have any concerns with this

Hi all, one week left for cuts (deadline 31.1.23) we couldn't reach a consensus for a draft date so we will be moving to a slow draft starting early Feb. More details to come over the next week on how this will work but likely looking at 24 hours per nom + 8 hour resets, likely 1 nominations per team to start, and we will increase noms as everyone gets used to the platform.
Likely using Couch managers and I will import post-cut rosters so that player availability is mirrored.

Hot stove season officially opens up on Tuesday Nov 15, next important date after that is the Jan 31 cut deadline. We'll start discussing possible dates for our draft soon, probably late Feb/early March?

Thanks everyone for making our league happen, it's been really fun competing with and getting to know everyone here. This offseason should be a lot smoother with no strike looming, a shorter draft and a general understanding of the format.

Big welcome to Andrew, who is taking over Sad Rockies Noises, and Mike, the new manager of the Toccoa Tigers. They come to us via the Australian connection, though Mike is in the Bay Area (once again we span all four U.S. time zones). You guys get a penalty-free round of cuts, just make sure you make them all at once. Oh, and if you take over the lead, just know that you'll inevitably fall to at least 6th place within a few weeks.
