Hi all, quick summary.
1. Rosters are accurate per Ottoneu in Couchmanagers now.
2. There are 3 teams with issues because of some kind of data issue in the crash and are ghosts (see discord)
3. I have given remaining teams up to 4 nominations depending on roster spots to fill (if you have <4 spots you have the noms to fill it, no more)
Thank you all again for your patience and hopefully we can sail home smoothly from here.

Hi everyone, after a brief break to have some breakfast and brush my hair I have realised that we need some restrictions on previously auctioned players.
Managers who were winning a player in the purge have rights to nominate them at the price listed on the previously won auction for the next 24 hours.
Please do not snipe previously won players.

Anyone taking advantage of this in anyway i.e by sniping nominations you previously weren't able to make due to roster limits or ongoing costs will be considered both a scoundrel and to have brought shame and dishonour to their team.
If you take any exception to this or feel that it is unfair please reach out to me.

As it is a manual process to extend and re-order them all one by one and in an effort to make things as simple as possible across all our time zones I have decided that resuming the auction as normal from the last import I did before things went down is the best and most accommodating path forward for all of us.

- I do not care if you specifially nominate the same players as you did previously.

The draft is going ok, there’s been a few issues with me being constantly outbid on my beautiful boys but that’s on me not the platform.
In a few hours time I am going to update the countdown timer for nominations to 18 hours from 24 hours. It looks like this will be sufficient time for everyone to still get a stab (keep in mind it will still bounce back up to 8 after being outbid)

- 24 hour timers
- 8 hour resets (if the timer is under 8 hours and someone is outbid the timer resets to 8 hours)

We will be *slow drafting* on Couch Managers this year again. I will setup a draft room and send a link to everyone over the next couple of days.
Once everyone is in the draft room we may be able to kick things off early.

Well, I've been a bit preoccupied with real life for the last month or so and the season is almost over for another year.
It is a privilege to form the rock bottom on which the league stands :) The top 3 are much closer than a cursory look at the standings suggest!

More than fair reasoning from you guys; the only thing that raised flags for me is McCullers currently shut down again rehabbing the same injury from 2021. He’s definitely got the talent if he can fix is elbow. Sorry we called it out publicly like this too

You better hope that McCullers does not make these comments look foolish in a year from now. Which he might do. And that is the point: You pretend that your evaluation of a player is right and the only logical basis for the analysis of a trade. But that is not how it should work. Let’s all be honest here: We are all wrong all the time in fantasy baseball. And we all have the right to take the path that is right for us.

Appreciate the explanation and I get we all have different values on these guys, I just don't see a world where giving Altuve is taking a "free" flyer on a guy who hasn't pitched in two years and has suffered multiple setbacks even this year. There's also no comparison between McCullers and Sale or Flaherty, both of which were pretty productive last year.

Yep. What they said 👇. Altuve was going to be a cut for me in the office season, so I'm just taking the flyer in return of nothing that I'd get once the season is over.
