I definitely think the cap is better compared to 2/day. I guess the question is 7 or 10 starts. I’m good with whatever the majority decides.

That's a great point Reeses. Cap options go from 7-10 per week, but that's repeated each week of a 2 week matchup. I can see the virtue in both - if aces aren't stacked they can blow you up with 2/day.
"With a cap, there are up to 5 SP slots available on the lineup page each day, less if a team has fewer than 5 starts left for the matchup

Are you able to pick how many starts a week or is 10/week the only option? I'm fine with a cap just thinking outloud. Does 10/week give a team with 5 Ace's a big advantage if it lines up so that they get 2 starts in the week compared to someone who has 2. 14/week cap might help offset that.

Welcome all and a quick update. Opening day is late March, so I'm going to move our draft day to March 1st to give us some time to settle on something more permanent.
I'd also like to change the GS Cap in our playoffs to 10/week rather than 2/day. It's a ways away, but I've found that's easier to manage if your staff stacks up late in the year and doesn't allow for an advantage if you're able to run out 14 starts.
Any thoughts on either of those items?Schrödinger's Bats on January 29, 2025 12:32 PM
