Hey guys, I'm not going to return next year. So feel free to fill my team. Thanks, good luck!
-
I had a great run there in mid-season and built a lead. That lead never really grew at all for the last 10 weeks or so which is testament to just how hard everyone competed until the end. Especially Country Rhodes. Every time I'd have a 200 point day and think that was the nail in the coffin, I'd look and that guy had just scored 200 also. I love being in leagues like that! I appreciate all you guys, and look forward to the off-season and 2023 rolling around before you know it.
-
Congrats Otto. You had it wrapped up for about 2 months but just about everybody stayed engaged all season which is impressive.
-
Congrats to Otto on the pennant
-
I really enjoyed the season everyone. Thanks for competing! If any of you are interested in Ottoneu Basketball, here's a link to a league forming now. https://ottoneu.fangraphs.com/basketball/invite?invite=eyJMZWFndWVJRCI6NDcsIkludml0ZXJJRCI6IjIxMjg3NCJ9

Hey guys - not sure if everyone saw, but Otto has set up a streamlined daily game. I made a group for us to play as a league, if anyone so chooses

So 10/12 teams already in with Mad Teeth being a maybe and waiting on a response from All Nations.
Definitely cool to see this league strong and healthy two years in
-
There's a chance that I don't return. For full disclosure, I love being a charter member but not this format (in relation to H2H & Roto).
-
Coming back with a vengeance.

I shall return

I know last year we did a roll call around this time to see who is planning to return next year. Might be a good idea again to ensure we can fill any empty spots before arbitration in the off-season?
-
We'd should probably all throw out our worst 18 days and feel much better. I wonder how long Joe Dimaggio's hit streak would have been since a day after it was broken, he went on another 15 game streak.
-
*whole = hole
-
Been the top team in league since 4/24... an atrocious first 18 days of the season sank our team into a whole it doesn't seem like we'll climb out of. Top 3 is all we're hoping.
-
$66 next year is a bit rich for me...
-
If anyone wants to part with multiple quality SPs and MIs for Tatis, let me know. I will not be releasing him.
-

In between the trade button and the message button at the top of this page, there is a tool symbol. Click on it. There's a calendar there.

Ends last day of season for points leagues.
-
When does the season end? I can't seem to find that info anywhere...
-
Putting George Springer on the block. I don't have the patience for his unending health issues - but you might!
-
Hey guys - I've been a bad league mate lately and am wanting to reinvigorate myself with a trade or two. Send your proposals!
-
Looks like we have a good old fashioned pennate race here boys
-
Updated my trade block moving for the all-star break. Woodruff/Brantley/Kimbrel a few names amongst others I'm looking to move.
-
A guy in an H2H league just stopped setting lineups and ghosted us. A decent team. Please message me if you're interested in taking over the squad. Here's a link to the roster... https://ottoneu.fangraphs.com/1317/team?team=9112

Looking to trade Salvy for a pitcher. Willing to send a decent sized loan alongside him to make the money close

George Springer is available

What would Al Bundy say about all these shoes?

Jazz Chisholm/Cole Irvin Package available. Seeking Outfielders. Thanks.

Just as I remember it with the posts holding it up. It must have been fun climbing to the top with all that open air under each row.

It's very true, but more like an old metal erector set. I remember going back in the 70's as a child. Two giants sets of bleachers on both sides between the 20's, and 2 small sets in each end zone. Burt Reynolds donated a boatload of money several times and changes were made over the years. https://c8.alamy.com/comp/2H73B7T/an-aerial-view-of-doak-campbell-stadium-on-the-campus-of-florida-state-university-friday-nov-19-2021-in-tallahassee-fla-it-is-the-home-field-fo-2H73B7T.jpg

No sir, Brothers BC - Just working. Worked at the local CBS station (now work at the local NBC in Cincy). And Rhodes, it’s far different - not nearly as nice as a lot of those SEC/Big 12 stadiums, but still quite nice. But you’re not misremembering at all, it definitely was as you’re describing
-
This is a question for the FSU guys. I'm old but I can remember visiting my cousins in Tallahassee when I was a kid and the FSU stadium appeared to be about 50 rows of wooden bleachers. From the road you could look right through the bleachers to the other side of the field. I remember at the time thinking what a rinky dink stadium. I guess its changed a little bit today. Does anybody go back that far to verify my memory?
-
War Eagle! I may be the only Auburn fan in New England but my aunt was from Birmingham and a Bama fan, my cousin Fletch was from Baton Rouge and an LSU fan, a good friend that I worked with was from Opelika and an Auburn grad who constantly worked on me and won me over. 4 SEC teams in Omaha and none named Tennessee. Butch Thompson is the type of man you want running a team. And Tony Vitello ... ? No comment.
-
FSU alum?

Go Noles! Loved number 11. Loathed Junior long before he took the helm. Hated not advancing to the supers, but knew it would take at least that to can Junior. Excited for the change in direction. All the self-proclaimed "insiders" are saying Notre Dame's head coach is heading to Tallahassee unless the Irish win the CWS. I'll believe it when I see it.
-
It also helps when you have skin in the game - Auburn in their second CWS in three tournaments has me extatic
-
I've done nothing but watch the tournament each of the last two weekends and am very excited for Omaha. I didn't really care about college baseball until I, myself, went to college, and then I actually covered FSU for 4 years and they're kind of a dynasty so I really got invested then. It's great.
