Hi Commish and owners, wanted to say it's been a pleasure playing with all of you this season. Got way too many leagues and cannot maintain the rythm (time consuming and $$$). So I won't be renewing many of my leagues like this one, got some talent to attract new owner for next year so you should be able to quickly fill vacancy. have a good arb and a great future season! - you may need to sign in to use this, but it is free
- please be flexible and select as many "yes" or "if need be" as possible. planning a 4 hour time between 12 people is hard.
- once we've honed in on which date generally works best for everyone, we'll figure out a time. likely in the AM, but if need be afternoon/night

I actually think he taught most of us how to bid properly after joining us in year 2. The entire point of the Vickrey auction is to incentivize bidding a player's true value. Having cap space is a big advantage when players are still consistently under-bid in our league.
Niv and co put a lot of thought into why they picked this auction style, you can find pretty interesting breakdowns in the forms/blog/podcast on why it works well for a game like this.

Fair enough, but it could also be “second strike and you’re stuck with it” that way managers who have never fat-fingered don’t get screwed because the first 5 managers got a second chance.

FYI - a manager messaged me that starting an auction for Brendan White was a fat-fingered mistake. It was within a few minutes of the auction starting, so I will honor it. Ottoneu has no way to cancel an auction, but after the bid, I'll remove the player from the roster (assuming no one else bids and wins the auction instead).

When I looked at the timings, iwas in the same minute (3 minutes??). Went to see stats for Munoz and when I came back to my cut page, it had changed to Diaz, but pressed to quickly, never saw the change. Now why would I cut Diaz, one of the best RP this year, it is clearly a button mistake, thanks Commish and managers

@Big Papi - I'll add Diaz later this morning when I have more time to figure out how.
@everyone - I'll reset cut's if they are a mistake, it happens. Big Papi messaged the league 3-minutes after the cut (look at email receipt times). To set precedence in the future - if you don't message me immediately (within 10 minutes) after the cut, it is final. Not mulling it over and then deciding against it later.
