  • Go into Commissioner tools, Manager Information and check the P-F cuts box. That opens up free cuts. Give him 24-48 hours to make the cuts, then go back in and shut it off.

  • I believe as Commissioner, you can grant him a period for free cuts. I have taken over teams before after the cut deadline and the Commissioner granted me a time frame for free cuts. Just sayin.

  • He has let me know the system will not allow him to make any cuts until after the draft. He’ll address his roster issues then. The pool of players we see now is who is available for the auction draft.

  • My thought is let him have a round of free cuts. We all get busy, I trust that's behind this and he was open about admitting it. My thought is lets get on with it soon. Personally, I have 5 Ottoneu auctions to prepare for, this league being the first. I'd really like to know what free agent market we have to work with sooner versus later!

  • It’s the same owner who has been in this league since the beginning. I have been in communication with him and he has been a little bogged down and apologetic for missing the deadlines, which he has never previously missed. If the system allows him, I am inclined to allow him to make the one round of penalty-free cuts. I don’t think it would cause harm or provide an advantage in this instance. But I wonder what the league thinks on this. Please let me know publicly or privately.

  • Looks like we have a new owner for the non-paying/abandoned team. Are we giving the new owner a free drop opportunity? The previous manager left with an illegal roster.
