It is not entirely clear from the Arbitration tab interface but to add dollars you need to click the drop-down that says "Overview" and select the team you want to arb. Then repeat x10.

Thanks for the reminder Yogi - arbitration should be done by the end of today. Stringer, read section c.i. here: https://ottoneu.fangraphs.com/rules#offseason . Then go to the Arbitration tab. The idea is to add dollars to the players you feel are the most underpriced. Not necessarily the most exciting part of the season, but important for long-term league health.

Yeesh, 10 HRA in the last 20 IP. No way to recover from that. Congrats on the title Benchwarmers! I hope everyone will be able to return next season but if you know you will not be then please let me know as soon as possible so that I can find replacement managers. That was a wild finish to the playoffs. Short of any adjustments. Only 17pts separated 6th from 7th.
3pts between 4th and 5th place. And the crazy finish by Baffles Bombers at the end to go from 7th to 3rd.

Actually it was pretty easy to find the 4 problematic rows. I manually added the players but please still double check your rosters.

I ended the two remaining auctions early since no one could outbid and I imported results to Ottoneu. The import showed that 4 rows were not correctly read but I have no idea which ones so *please check your rosters carefully*. If you spot any issues please let me know before noon Eastern on Monday. I will begin the season then (and at that point trades and FA auctions will become possible). Thanks everyone!

RBI kings has not joined. I tried messaging them but no response. We will start without them but I have to manually remove their players so we will be a bit late to start. Still hope to get going in the next couple of hours or so.

If you have not done a slow auction before the other thing to be aware of is the "max bid." You can secretly set the highest price that you are willing to pay, and you only end up paying $1 more than the second highest bidder.

We will start with 2 noms and then go to 3 noms on the second day. Once the player is won (it doesn't matter which team wins), the nominating team gets a new nom. So yes, that means that a maximum of 24 players (or 36) are up at once. Teams should nom in a timely fashion - if someone is just sitting on noms for longer than 24 hours I will assume they are finished and mark them as done. Otherwise this thing could drag on forever...

I've been playing around with the CM site, as I've never used it before. I see each team can have 2 players nominated at max during the slow draft? Does max nominations in the lower right mean that there is a max of 24 players available to bid at one time or can each team only nominate 24 players for the entire draft? Secondly, what happens if someone does not keep players actively nominated, do they lose the ability after awhile?

I haven’t heard any objections to starting Monday 2/12 so that is the plan. Please join the CM auction ASAP if you haven’t done so yet. I can’t import rosters until everyone has joined. Thanks!

Hi all, I am taking over commissioner duties from Venados. (Thanks Venados for running the league all these years!) I hope to see many of you stay around but if anyone does not plan to renew, please let me know ASAP so I can try to find replacement managers before the cut deadline. And if you know anyone who would like to join the league, please pass along their info since we will have at least one opening and probably more. I hope you are all enjoying the offseason.

I see that the keeper deadline is this month. Not sure about the rest of you, but I have a couple of difficult decisions to make on my roster.
Good luck to everyone with the season. Hopefully, everyone is returning. And once again, congrats to Cricket for the great finish.

Yep, well done dark horse Clongowes! That's why I was pushing all summer for that coveted 6th place. Plus, that's why I love this format; and actually in a couple other leagues, we play with double payouts. First place at the end of August gets a sidepot, then we do the tournament. There might be teams open next year, so let me know if you're interested

Thanks Benchwarmers. You had me worried, especially with Kirby pitching so well today. Fun season! I will cherish this one. A lot of ups and downs, and I got pretty lucky with the timing of the ups.

Players on the 60IL and suspended players do not count towards the maximum of 40 active players

Can someone explain to me (like I'm a small child) about rosters and number of players allowed? I thought 42 was the number, then I see some have up to like 47. I'm currently at 41 and had to drop a player to be within the rules. What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated.
