Finished! Thanks everyone. I'll give teams 24 hours to check that there were no mistakes in the import process and then I'll start the season, at which point you can cut players, make trade offers, and start auctions. Some buyer's remorse on my end, hopefully not too much on yours.

Looks like we are almost done. If the remaining teams (FB Analyst, Stringer Bello) would like to speed up the endgame then you can click "Pass" on open auctions you aren't interested in. If I see that everyone who can place a bid has passed then I will end the auction early, which will give the nominating team their nomination back. If we do this then we should be able to finish today. But it is also no problem to let things finish slowly. Up to y'all.

Again please make sure to check your keepers. I found one error so far - Spencer Jones TBR (!) was imported instead of Spencer Jones NYY - but I didn't check rosters exhaustively.

Ok no objections so far so I will plan on starting tomorrow. Review: we start with 2 noms each and increase to 3 after a day or so (after expensive players are off the table). The timer starts at 12 hours and resets to 8 when a team is outbid. No overnight timeouts, so set max bids. Once a player is won the nominating team gets a new nom. No sitting on noms; use your available nominations within 24 hours or you will be marked as done. Please let me know here or in DMs if you have any questions.

Rosters have been imported into Couch Managers. Please check your team carefully - there are usually a few mistakes in the import process. I would love to start up the auction on Saturday morning, some time around 9:00a ET - any objections?

We are now full! Welcome to Big Papi, who I assume needs no introduction. We have done the auction pretty early on in past seasons. I would like to start soon, perhaps as early as next weekend. I will start setting it up in Couch Managers. Since it will be a slow auction (unless people voice strong preferences for live) it is not too important to try to navigate busy schedules, but please do let me know as soon as possible if you will be without Internet access for any stretch in February.

I've done both. I prefer slow auction. It does seem to drag out sometimes. But with my schedule it is easier. We're not tied down to a specific time, more time to consider everything. Trying to get 12 teams to agree on a specific time would be difficult.

Waiting on two other teams to renew as well. I will follow up with them. As soon as everyone has renewed we'll talk auction. We have slow drafted every year - I am inclined to continue to do so but we could certainly discuss changing to a live auction. If anyone has strong preferences then please let them be known! (I prefer live but they are a pain to schedule.)

For a free league, I love how competitive it is.. even if it means I'm constantly frustrated by it 😩 But this year I gotta cut back.. I'm overextending myself a bit, and this league is on the border! But I found a friend who will co-own. Trying to attach him to the team. Anyone know HOW? Commish?

It is not entirely clear from the Arbitration tab interface but to add dollars you need to click the drop-down that says "Overview" and select the team you want to arb. Then repeat x10.

Thanks for the reminder Yogi - arbitration should be done by the end of today. Stringer, read section c.i. here: https://ottoneu.fangraphs.com/rules#offseason . Then go to the Arbitration tab. The idea is to add dollars to the players you feel are the most underpriced. Not necessarily the most exciting part of the season, but important for long-term league health.

Yeesh, 10 HRA in the last 20 IP. No way to recover from that. Congrats on the title Benchwarmers! I hope everyone will be able to return next season but if you know you will not be then please let me know as soon as possible so that I can find replacement managers. That was a wild finish to the playoffs. Short of any adjustments. Only 17pts separated 6th from 7th.
3pts between 4th and 5th place. And the crazy finish by Baffles Bombers at the end to go from 7th to 3rd.

Actually it was pretty easy to find the 4 problematic rows. I manually added the players but please still double check your rosters.

I ended the two remaining auctions early since no one could outbid and I imported results to Ottoneu. The import showed that 4 rows were not correctly read but I have no idea which ones so *please check your rosters carefully*. If you spot any issues please let me know before noon Eastern on Monday. I will begin the season then (and at that point trades and FA auctions will become possible). Thanks everyone!

RBI kings has not joined. I tried messaging them but no response. We will start without them but I have to manually remove their players so we will be a bit late to start. Still hope to get going in the next couple of hours or so.
