• Also, I thought that each player you hold on your MILB rosters counts as the highest draft pick. So if you keep 2 guys you still have 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks but your 4th and 5th are gone. Is that correct?

• Also, i should have been more firm wIth my previous statement. In order not to incur a $1 cap hit your milb players must be cut before the January 31st deadline, just like your active roster. After the deadline there will be a $1 cap hit to drop an Milb player. PLEASE ANNOUNCE MILB CUTS HERE ON THE MESSAGE BOARD.

• Just a reminder about milb draft.
  
  Milb draft is 5 rounds if necessary.
  If a team has players saved from previous years that team will only be allowed to draft as many players as it takes to reach a total of 5.
  Also let's say a team already has 3 players saved that team will only draft in the 4th and 5th rounds.

• Thanks for posting that link. After re-reviewing those rules and my MiLB roster, I think Mark Vientos is actually ineligible to remain on my MiLB (he had 41 PA in the majors last year). I'd like to cut him rather than promote.

• Forget what i said about Triantos not being eligible for future milb drafts.
  Since he was dropped preseason it was a penalty free cut therefore he was not assigned a value of $1 as a free agent.
  I think during the season a player will retain the $1 value

I don't believe there is a required date to cut them by before the draft, but if you could try and do it with the cut deadline it would help give me some time. • Anytime a new owner takes over a team, they get a round of free cuts. So basically someone who took over post-keeper deadline would get a chance to make cuts. The downside is that they have the advantage of knowing what the player pool will be for the auction, which might make a difference at the margin in terms of knowing who is available, calculating inflation, etc. So it's in the league's interest to have anyone who isn't going to renew say so before the deadline.
