• I was just thinking that since our draft most likely will happen on March 10th. Since spring training games will still be played after that. How many owners would like the minor league portion of the draft held on March 24th. This will give you two weeks more to scout minor league players.

• 2) It's Seby Zavala, Emmanuel Rodriguez and Yadiel Fernandez I believe (Hernandez was a typo).
  1) The MiLB draft goes in snake order, and any players kept count essentially as a draft pick. You can draft up to 5 players, while also having the ability to get up to 10 MiLB players rostered (thru trades). So if you were to have 5 players rostered going into the draft, you couldn't pick anyone. Any players that are kept will just slot into the picks as you go down the draft order.

• The Padres and the Dodgers play two games in Japan on March 20th and 21st. The rest of the teams play on March 28th. The drawback to an early draft is that we have less time to evaluate players. On the positive side it gives us more time to trade and pick up free agents

• I changed the draft date to March 10th. Because I found out the season starts March 20th. And our original draft date would have been after the start of the season. And this Sunday before would have been March 17th. And I don't know how many people would have been willing to draft on Saint Patrick's Day. Anybody has any conflict let me know as soon as possible.
