Well then! Last day of the year and it seems like our top 3 is set, but we will see! Congrats to the winners and to the rest of us, we can turn it around next year. Remember, do not tune out this website. Ottoneu has a fairly robust list off season activity. Not over-demanding, but you will have stuff to do after the IRL playoffs!

Hey folks, commisioner here. I don't know who is new or old to Ottoneu and needs to hear this, but you can re-auction players you cut after 30 days and reduce that cap hit by half. Some of you are suffering in cap Hell and don't have to be. You can check who is eligible to be re-auctioned from your on your ROSTERS tab.

yeah it is only going to "reset" to that new time once we dip below it.

Ok I just set the high bid on Gerrit Cole and the expiration timer reset back to 8 hours. So looks like a new max bid will only reset back to 8 hours once it has dipped below 8 hours.

The auction setting on the right side of the page says "Time Limit: 16h Extension: 8h". Maybe the extension refers to this and doesn't kick in unless the expiration has dipped below 8 hours? I can't find any documentation on couchmanagers that explains what "Extension" means.

I have a question on the expiration time. I thought last year, the setting was that a new max bid would reset the timer. This is so other owners have time to see the max bid happen and readjust to determine whether to bid more or not. Is that still true? For example: I did a max bid on Noelvi Marte just now but the expiration time is still at 8 hours.

I plan to start it at eight. In fact it should Automatically “resume” like it did today and no one was looking!
I am starting with max two noms each person but it just means you can’t nominate another person til your two noms have been fully auctioned. I will up it on Saturday if everyone is on board.
But you don’t have to nominate anyone, I don’t think. I think you can just lay back and bid.

If I put two players in my Queue, will they automatically be nominated once you un-pause?

Well if nominations lock at 9pm my time and restart at 5am, it increases the likelihood of missing something. If we're doing this slow draft, please be a little flexible.

Currently, the timers are at 16 and 8, and I will decrease to 12 and 4 when we have reached 75% rosters (360 players); currently we are at 276. I plan to pause the draft at 11 pm eastern and restart at 7 am every day.
Objections or concerns?

I have all of the rosters in the couch managers system. you should check over them and check the free agents, as well. I have the draft paused as of 417 central on 2-19. I would like to start Thursday morning if possible. I want to start with max 2 noms until everyone understands how to use this site, then maybe saturday up it to 12 nominations.

SOrry guys I guess the email didnt go through with the password (or ottoneu has your wrong address!).
The 9 teams who have signed up on couch managers, your roster should be imported. if something is wrong, let me know. the other 3, just get in there! I have to pay a subscription the longer this goes on lol
