Hi sorry, the draft has started and a pick has already been made. The MiLB player pool is locked. So cuts aren’t possible anymore and any prospects traded at this point will not be able to be back filled.

ah yes. this league has never required promoting players from MiLB before dropping. Dropping players is penalty free (although on pause until after the draft so the available pool is locked).

That would have been my point had we promoted players first instead of just dropping them. My first promoting and then dropping that player would have a $1 salary and signify that he was on somebody's team. From what I read those $1 players would not be eligible for a draft

The all-star break is a day away which means the mid-season MiLB draft is about to begin. We can start tomorrow morning once the standings are set and the order is clear. Not sure how many rounds there will be. Depends on how many players people need to reach 10.

General Housekeeping:
1) we'll do this MiLB draft again at the All-Star break. Usually, that's too soon for the amateur draftees to have signed and get added to Ottoneu. It's nice replacement activity for when there are no games.
2) the season starts tonight. I believe the Seoul game locks at 6a ET/3a PT. get hyped! and get your rosters in before you sleep.

great draft, y'all! these MiLB rosters are stacked. the restricted players list and the google sheet should both be up-to-date now. if you do find an issue though, please let us know and we'll fix it as soon as we can.
