Hey there - rather than have Mikey try to just log folks availability, here is a link to help schedule the draft. You fill out the times you ARE available. If you want to change your answers in the future, put in a simple password like "capped". You dont have to create an account. https://crab.fit/capped-auction-836064 Of note - Opening day is March 27; Japan series is March 17-18. So draft dates on the early side could be preferred.

I believe we've generally done it one to two weeks after the FCA draft. That would give us a proposed date of Sunday March 23rd at 7:00 eastern time. Does that work for people?

I seem to remember having done this draft the same time and day of the week one week before or after FCA. I liked that.

I noticed draft day has been officially set in the other league, so perhaps we should set a date in this one. Would people prefer earlier or later, week day or weekend, earlier in the day or later?

Really, he is doing all those things. He drafted Glasnow, Crochet, and Baz; added Witt Jr from waivers in 2020, traded for Gilbert and Cease, and his roster is full of prospects. He's pretty good at this when he has enough time to pay attention. Even without colluding with his "brother". (I Kid!)

I think Charles should be given as much time as reasonably possible, so, I propose that all owners wait today as long as you comfortably can before allocating. If Charles protects someone by then, all good. If not, then when the first owner is out of time and has to allocate, they post here that they're allocating, the option for protecting a player will be waived, and all owners should then complete their allocations. Brent, maybe you can text to let him know? Or pass is number to me. Thoughts?

I'm out of town for work this week. I would prefer if we can get these arb dollars allocated.

Also, several have assigned $$ to Drew’s Alvarez, who he’s protecting. If these dollars aren’t reassigned, they’ll be lost.

There’s five days of arbitration left. I vote for either giving it 24 more hours, after which folks will just have to allocate, or if everyone is comfortable completing it during the week, then giving it until Monday morning. Thoughts?

Drew & Charles - who you protecting? I propose that we add a clause in the league constitution for 2025 that the players protected from arbitration have to be named prior to the arbitration deadline or the benefit is lost. This is at least the second year we have waited and waited to see who is protected.

Howdy fellas. I am back in a pseudo state of normalcy. The last 3.5 weeks were as wild as any I can remember. We made it through relatively well. Wondering if we will get the names of players that are exempt from Arb.

Thanks Schmegs! You had some of the biggest one-day and week-long point totals ever. Really put the pressure on. I thought I'd have a nice glide to the finish, but no. Didn't feel comfortable until the last week.
