sorry whoever owns ohtani. This is gonna go south on him. Sell high!!

I just deleted him Ichiro
-
Nolan Schanuel should be available for others to add. I dropped him from my minor league roster before the cut deadline in January.
-
Below is the Ottoneu Rule.
-
After a trade is confirmed, league managers have 24 or 48 hours to review the trade, per league settings. If a majority (50% + 1 vote) of league managers object to the trade, it will not be finalized. This clock begins automatically once both teams have accepted the trade on the site
-
Milb Draft is over. On the rule change during the year, I am open to any change but any change during the year it would have to be a 12-0 vote. The last trade was processed on a vote of 3 approved, 5 veto, 4 didnt vote. We had one mistake and the team contacted me and informed me they made a mistake. The trade was processed by Ottoneu therefore I will go with the trade. The non votes I guess are counted as an approval vote.

I found another SS! I had to dig deep!
-
Looks like Ichiro for one pick, then Uncle Charlie for two and we're done
-
For that other league, trades also aren't allowed until June 1st so to compare you have to look at trades after then. BTW
I wouldn't propose a date limit on trades.

Lol, thanks for making it easy WB! That could've been messy...
-
I legit laughed out loud on that one.
-
i'll make it easy - Emiliano Teodo TEX
-
Please tell me he wanted to take Kyle Teel, ha!
-
Sorry about that, WB. Anyone have suggestions for how to handle this?
-
Yeah, I see it now. I was seeing a full roster and skipped over you.
-
oh I see - someone put Brayden Taylor into both of my open spots, so it looks full (but isn't)
-
i guess that's why i'm confused. i have not had a second pick yet?

Can you provide the league number, HC? I'd be curious to see what in season trade activity looks like in that league...
-
Zod is full. We made it all the way down and are on the way up again. Things have been moving quickly today.
-
I probably got lost along the way, but isn't it Zod now? I think we are going back down?
-
Sure, everyone has opinion on what's too high and too low. The ability to expand to $485 is a 20% increase over average roster size which at least
in the league I'm in has proven to work for many years and considered fair by all. I would say going to $500 could work but if you go to $575 there's just no point in a cap as very few teams ever hit that cap and those who do are often gone the next year.
-
JD is on the clock for MILB draft
-
I like the concept, HC, but I think those limits seem a little too restrictive. Maybe something like $575 cap and $250 floor would prevent things from getting out of hand while allowing sufficient flexibility for an active trade market.
-
McGibblets - Robert Gasser - Milw
-
I'm in another league that's also 5x5, also has an MILB draft and does have "loan limits" that it enforces with an in-season salary floor of $315 and an in-season salary cap of $485. Very simple process. If the trade would violate either of these it's disallowed. That league has seen very little turnover from year to year with most everyone sticking around.
-
So veto a trade within the rules because you don’t like the rules.
I took over shit team a with the pretty obvious strategy of accumulating as much cheap young talent as possible.
I’m going to be a middling team at best, with or without Cole or Betts. I might be marginally worse with the young cheap players this year, but far better off in the following years. (If I don’t get banned.)
So when you see me deal for some expensive vet later on in the seaso
-
I'm open to the idea of putting some kind of limit on loans. That would prevent the situation where an owner trades away all his future value to get a championship with no intention to return the following season.
-
I've seen loans, but not as big as this one in one trade. That's the one thing I don't like in Ottoneu (the rest is perfect), the loan part, there should be a limit for a single transaction and another limit for the year. If people can't trade a player with a high salary, then you cut him, I did it numerous times over the years, but I hear you say yeah but what did you win Papi? It doesn't matter, prefer a cap on loans so nobody could buy a championship (not saying that's what you did)

Walltimore - you actually have another pick, as Papi's roster is full.
