April 8, 2021 9:48 PM : McNeil went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk Thursday against the Marlins.
Analysis: McNeil led off the ninth inning with the Mets down 2-1, and he drove an Anthony Bass offering over the right-field wall to tie the game. It was both his first hit and first homer of the campaign, as he entered the game 0-for-8 at the dish. McNeil should be a regular in the lineup at second base throughout the season.
