Maybe this should have been discussed in the 5 month offseason rather than 3 days into the season
-
My other H2H leagues I am in and have been in and look at joining have more then 7. This league is in the minority.
-
We can’t control these weeks, man. If you go to 8-10 starts, it becomes pitching heavy. Embrace the difference and enjoy the game.
-
These are the weeks we NEED more SP than 7 starting pitchers . This league weighs into more of a hitting league This is a weak rule for this league.
-
Problem fixed.
-
I don’t mind helping, but I’ll be doing the same thing you could. Going to the contact us page. I know last night the whole system had some mess ups with Ohtani, so it may be a consequence of that. Send me a screenshot of the error to chasezajc@gmail.com

Deep State you are the Commissioner could you please look into it.

You have reached this page because you either did something you weren't supposed to, or you found a problem with our site. If you believe it is the latter, please [contact us](https://ottoneu.fangraphs.com/contactus) and let us know. This is the message.

I can set mine just fine.
-
I am in 7 leagues and this is the only one that I can't set up my lineup in . What is going on?
-
Realignment is correct in the settings. But I believe until the standings reset to 0-0 the previous year's divisions will display here. I get nervous every year. But what should happen (for posterity): Bronze- Gets Amanda and loses Zelig; Silver Gets Zelig & J's Place and loses Amanda and Deep State; Gold gets Deep State and loses J's Place.
-
Alright, who is ready to trade?
-
Did realignment happen?
-
I am looking forward to it.

Draft Tomorrow! Get Hyped.
-
OK- Draft is set. March 28th at 8pm ET. Thank you all for your flexibility.
-
Ok, One of my other leagues is going to to their draft the 26th not the 28th. So, I can now do the 28th at 8:30PM but can we do earlier as I am self employed and some days I have to get up at 3:45AM east coast time. Are more people in this league on the west coast.

I don't particularly care when it is, but I would just like to set it so it's done. It also looks like no times work for absolutely everyone, so I would say bias towards the people who had the most times available.
-
The 28 is now undoable for me. Another of my leagues in now doing the 28th. I would like the 18th at 3PM which is where it is now if at all possible.

Not sure why that got cut off. It was under the character count. Weird.

Baseball, Injury, and Missionary- we are still awaiting your votes. Plz Vote!
Everyone else: The dates/times that are emerging as the best option don't work for everyone. But I'm putting them here in the sincere hope that they may work anyway and that we can be flexible:
All time in March in CT
Sat 18th 12-4pm
Tue 28th 7/8-11
Wed 29th 7/8-11
I've prioritized start times for the most people, thinking we won't need everyone at the end. If you ABS
-
Apologies- Draft times in the Doodle are Central Timezone if that isn't clear on the poll.
-
Alright, we have 5 owners who've filled out the poll. This is the time for me to implore more responses. And, if possible log into doodle with the same email address as your ottoneu owner address as it will allow me to cross-reference who is missing (if you can't change your name on the poll).
-
Alright MLB Opening Day is March 30th this year. I've made a doodle poll. Typical this league seems to like as close to Opening as possible. So this poll is pretty much just March. As always: don't be the jerk who says you only have one or day days in the entire month available to draft. That's crazy. https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/b46KMyne

thanks for having me, just go easy on me lol

Reminder: Reminder that the keeper deadline is 1/31/23 at 9p Eastern (you can do trades up to that date as well).
I'll get a doodle poll for the draft date up after the deadline (and hopefully after we add a couple owners). Let us know if you have any friends that would like to join!
-
Thanks, I am sending the email now.
-
If it helps, I received mine October 14th, so I'm guessing it is around then for you, too.
-
Payouts are standard across all ottoneu leagues. You should have received a prize into your PayPal account. If not, you'll have to reach out to ottoneu. There's an email address: help@ottoneu.com
-
Is there prize money associated with this league for coming in 2nd place? If so how much. I didn't get any.
-
I was thinking about that too. We are down 2 managers right now, so please let us know if you find anyone. I did post in the slack channel for Otto.
eulipions and hoyas.
We will get some dates and times set up soon.
-
Probably time to get the draft date survey started. March 28 will be here before we know it.
-
7

I'm good with 7.

Correct me if I'm wrong: it sounds like: Godot, Mess, Deep - 7. Eulipions, Zelig - 9. Glory, Paisley - either but lean 7. Let's wait to hear from a few others to see if anyone leans more towards 9. Otherwise, it sounds like 7 is probably the answer for this league.
-
I prefer 7.

I’m in for 9

I'm with Mr. Glory on this point. I like the concept of a pitcher for every day of the week. Everyone is on the same level. Ace pitchers will only have 2 starts every now and then... I can see scenarios where I'd be hesitant to run out my 4th or 5th pitcher in a double week. That said, I won't necessarily go heavy on pitching at the expense of an extra bat who can play multiple positions if we go to 9 starts. We've done 7, I'm willing to try 9.

Zelig, you keep bringing up the example of having two studs pitch twice in a week as if that is common. How many stud pitchers are there in MLB? Let's be generous and say 15. We have 12 teams in our league, so assuming a reasonable distribution of said studs, somebody MAY have 3 of them if they're super lucky. How often will two of those three have two starts in a week? I like 7 starters but would be fine with 9 if that's what people want. I just don't see it as a huge deal. Depth still helps.
-
7 is a different type of challenge than 9. You have to be more selective. There is nothing better or worse, it’s a different challenge.
-
Godot, 6 SP is different than most leagues but tell my why it a better than having 9? As in real baseball the depth of the starting pitchers should important. Here if you have two top pitchers going twice that week you only have to use 3 others starting pitcher. 6 doesn't value pitching depth and it should. 9 would be better.
-
I’m in 9 other leagues and they all have more starts then our current 7. As i said before, 9 seems to be the right number.
-
I don't mind 7 starts. It is a nice change from other leagues I'm in that have more. But If folks are itching for a change, I don't mind hearing from them. I personally haven't thought about fantasy for a month or so, so I'm just starting to think about trades now. I expect things will pick up a little as we head to the roster lock deadline at the end of the month.
-
I am in 7 leagues and this is the only one I am in that I haven't made a trade. I have been involved in 21 failed trade attempts since November. Now I don't have much left to trade but I am still trying.SP Keller for an outfielder. Let me know ASAP.
