  • Good morning all. We're about two weeks away from the Keeper Deadline for both the major league and minor league rosters. Please make sure your rosters are legal before the deadline. All of the MiLB rosters are up to date in the Google Sheet, and MiLB cuts/promotions can be made to the message board before the deadline. We did have a question from one of the owners about whether we should continue with the MiLB rosters. If anyone feels similarly feel free to speak up.

  • Welcome Andy, you’re allowed to keep a max of 5 milb players. Cuts are due at the same time as your 40 man and can be posted to the message board. After the main draft, we’ll run a slow draft to fill open milb slots. All players have a $1 salary when called up, doesn’t matter how long they’ve been on your milb roster. You can call players up prior to their major league debut to create roster space. Once they make their debut they have to be added. Here’s an article that breaks down the basics -

  • (cont.) Does everyone on the minor league squad get that $1 salary when brought up, or let's say I have an 18-year-old and I keep him year after until he debuts at 22, does his starting salary change? Anything else I should know? Thanks.

  • Hey everyone, I'm Andy, new owner of team Red (new name TBD). I'm looking for some clarification about the 5-man minor league rosters so I know what's going on for offseason transactions. Here's what I know so far: I have a 5-player minor league reserve squad, and if they get called up during the season they get a $1 salary. Things I need to know: Do we carry over all of those 5 players into next season and draft another 5-man squad? Or do we all keep a max of 5 minor reserves at one time?

Finding new owners at this time of year is challenging.
