This should be very hard to pass up. After all hitters like Springer often have a Ryan Howard sized hole in their swing, he could disappear entirely if opposing pitchers find it (it wouldn't be the first time a guy hit well for a month and a half). Obviously, he's $2 price tag mitigates that risk over time, he'll probably be bid up to around $12, but that's still manageable. I only say this to point out Springer is still a risky play.
