I'm pretty sure that it's just because after the cut deadline and before the draft. All rosters are locked in that span.

Hmm, maybe because we added you to the roster (as opposed to the team being abandoned and claimed) it doesn’t default to allow you to do the free cuts yourself.
But, as Razor said, either of us can do them. If you don’t mind picking the cuts by the end of the weekend, so teams have a couple days with the full list of players available for the draft, that would be good.Raucous Redheads on March 1, 2025 1:56 PM
