  • Naples update -- no power yet this morning, but no damage in my sister's area. So all is good there.

  • My sister lives in Naples -- she's going to get hit by the outer bands on this one but she figures it'll be okay. Storm surge is the biggest worry. This is one scary storm and hoping for the best for everyone impacted.. I have a friend in Fletcher, NC (not far from Asheville) that had to be rescued from her house due to Hurricane Helene. Just heartbreaking to see this devastation.

  • Thanks, everyone. I've had "Blake the much despised tore the cover off the ball" from Casey at the Bat stuck in my head since Taylor's ridiculous single. Another great season for a really great league--just glad I could hold on and avoid a September collapse worse than the Twins' this year.
