February 19, 2021 7:36 PM : Teheran signed a minor-league contract with the Tigers on Friday that includes an invite to spring training, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.
Analysis: Teheran held a showcase in January, but he ended up having to settle for a minor-league deal. His contract with Detroit will earn him $3 million if he makes the big-league roster, however. The right-hander made 10 appearances (nine starts) for the Angels last season, posting a 10.05 ERA and 1.76 WHIP over 31.1 innings.
